Development of the 2,400 MW Son La HPP project using RCC technology in Vietnam
Description of project
The 2,400 MW Son La project co:ntributes to the development of the hydropower potential of the upper Da River in the Northwest of Vietnam. The plant comprises a 138 m high RCC gravity dam, spillway, low-level outlets, and an open-air powerhouse hosting six Francis units with an annual energy output of 9,400 GWh.
Evaluating and developing alternative project design using RCC technology, including the technical and construction drawings of the RCC dam; design supervision during RCC dam construction.
