Design review and tendering support services for an 850 MW HEPP in India

Description of project:
The Ratle HEP (850 MW) is a run-of-river scheme, located on Chenab valley in district Jammu, India. The project comprises a 133 m high concrete gravity dam and radial gates spillway to pass design flood of 13814 cumecs; four 6.6 m internal diameter underground circular steel lined pressure shafts; an underground powerhouse followed by a d/s surge chamber and four 8.8 m diameter tail race tunnels.
ÅF's services:
Phase I includes detailed review and updating of the DPR; assistance in obtaining concurrence of CEA and other government authorities as required.
Phase II includes preparation of design basis reports; preparation of tender documents, drawings, tender specifications for EPC bidding; prequalification / short listing of EPC contractors; issue of tender documents; pre-bid conference and evaluation of EPC Contractor’s bids; assistance in finalising contract negotiations and award of contract.
