Bachelor Thesis Project at ÅF, Automotive R&D - Designing a console and drainage solution for HVAC(Heat, Ventilation, Air Conditioning)
Today’s HVAC is design for only one car platform and the new HVAC needs to fit 2 different car platform. The problem is to find one new drainage solution for booth variants. The drainage console is to transport the water from the HVAC and out of the body.
The task is to design a new drainage console for booth cars platform.
Perform a concept to evaluate how to design the new drainage solution for water league from HVAC. Take care of the different positions for the HVAC in each platform. This can be done by using the tool CATIA, interview people or benchmarking of other cars.
A report including:
- Benchmark study
- A proposal for new drainage console for HVAC.
