What happens in the office after five o’clock? The computers may be switched off, but that certainly doesn’t mean the end of the day’s activities.
The passion and energy that are so visible in ÅF’s consulting projects are equally apparent in coworkers’ leisure activities. Many of our offices have an ÅF staff club run by enthusiastic, tireless individuals. Club ÅF, as it is known, organises various activities, such as riding, running training, tennis matches and ski trips, as well as cultural events that include everything from visits to the opera and art galleries to wine-tasting evenings. The activities on offer vary from office to office, but they all share two things in common: they promote more active use of leisure time and contribute towards creating a strong sense of togetherness.
Benefits at ÅF
ÅF has collective agreements with the trade unions, which means that the company offers good opportunities for personal development, flexible working hours and a range of attractive benefits. These include:
Group insurance cover: ÅF gives employees the opportunity to sign up to a voluntary group insurance. Premiums are paid by net deductions from salary. This offer includes life insurance, sickness insurance, accident insurance and child insurance.
Holidays: All ÅF employees have a minimum of 28.5 days holiday, which are accounted for and can be taken out per hour.
Occupational health service: ÅF employees are offered regular health checks free of charge. ÅF also has agreements with occupational healthcare providers that, for example, offer health services to employees about to embark on a business trip abroad.
Parental leave supplement: ÅF supplements the compensation paid by the Social Insurance Agency during parental leave, so that employees receive 90 percent of their salary during this period.
Travel agreements: Our agreements concerning daily allowances, mileage allowances and the definition of what constitutes travelling time are among the most favourable in the consulting industry. ÅF also offers employees company cars according to a model where “personal cars” are leased through the company.
Wellness contributions: ÅF underwrites 75 percent of the cost of physical exercise and wellness promotion activities up to a maximum of SEK 3,000 a year.
ÅF holiday cottages: The ÅF Staff Foundation has a number of cottages at its disposal that ÅF employees are entitled to rent for holidays or other recreational purposes.
