The Recruitment Process

Thank you for your interest in becoming a part of ÅF! In order to ensure that we are right for one another, we employ a systematic recruitment process.

The process

You will find our vacancies advertised on our website and other places such as LinkedIn. These will explain what the position entails and what we are looking for in candidates for the post in question.

Submit your application via our website attaching your CV, preferably including a cover letter. If you have any questions about the position, you are most welcome to contact us for further information. The contact information for the person best qualified to answer your questions is always included in the advertisement.

After an initial assessment of the applications we will invite the candidates that match our requirement profile to attend a first interview. When we meet, we hope that you will have prepared some questions regarding issues that are important to you in the event of changing employer. We will also ask you about your salary requirements at a relatively early stage of proceedings. You will be provided with login details for our Candidate Portal. This page will provide you with information on the benefits we offer our employees. You will be able to log in to the portal from your PC or mobile device – so that you can read about this in peace and quiet.

If after the first interview we are agreed on continuing the recruitment process, a second interview will be arranged. The purpose of these interviews is to provide you with a clear view of ÅF as an employer and to allow us to construct the most objective possible appreciation of your competence, skills and personal characteristics.

Tests and references
If we are recruiting for a role that demands specific skills, we will carry out tests as part of the selection process. If you are applying for a senior role we will carry out personality tests in order to ensure that you match the requirements we have of our executives. Naturally you will receive further information about this if this applies to your particular application.

Our basic principle is that we will speak to two or three references, one of whom will have a supervisory role. Please make sure that you have these references available in good time.

When we have completed the selection procedure, salary and contract negotiations will commence. When an agreement has been reached, an employment contract will be drawn up. Depending on the type of position involved, you will be offered either permanent or probationary employment.

Feedback to unsuccessful candidates
This feedback will be provided at the earliest possible opportunity. As a recruitment process can take anything from a couple of weeks to several months, it is difficult to give an exact date. You are always most welcome to contact us if you have any questions during the process.

Your experience of our recruitment process is important to us!
We therefore carry out a number of surveys each year in which candidates will be invited to participate. And yes – we do adapt our recruitment process based of the feedback we receive!
