Future Talent

Future Talent Program

The Future Talent Program is a unique opportunity for you as a master student to start your journey with us during your time at university. The program provides you with experiences and knowledge that prepare you for your future career.

About the Program 

The Future Talent Program at ÅF Pöyry is an international program for master students at KTH, Chalmers, Lund, Luleå, and Linköping in Sweden. ÅF Pöyry is an international company with more than 16, 000 employees all over the world. Therefore students from countries around Europe participate in the program. The program has been running since 2016 and many of our previous Future Talents now work at ÅF Pöyry.

1st and 2nd semester 
When you start your first year at the program you will be assigned a mentor at ÅF Pöyry that will be coaching you through your journey as a Future Talent. 

The first two semesters focus on educations and professional networking and is divided into five modules. Through each module, we focus on different areas that are designed to give you knowledge and experience that prepare you for your future career. You will get the opportunity to get to know us as an employer, the other Future Talent students in the program, and also our employees in different positions and stages of their career. You will gain valuable knowledge within areas such as leadership, rhetoric and presentation techniques, teamwork, sustainability, and career development.

3rd semester
During the last semester of the Future Talent Program, you write your master thesis with us.

The program starts: February 2020
Graduation: June 2021

 1. Send in your application 

Submit your CV, cover letter and/or any other information you see fit to present who you are. 

At ÅF Pöyry, we have a wide range of areas of expertise. Focus on what you are great at in your cover letter.  Describe what area you are interested in starting your career within. This makes it easier for us to match you, with the teams within ÅF Pöyry. 

2. Interviews
The next step is interviews. After going through all the applications we will invite selected candidates to interviews. The interviews will be held in December. 

3. Feedback
You will be informed about the result of the selection in January. 

4. Program starts
The program starts in the end February 2020.
