Malin Pålsson

I have been working at ÅF for two years and I have a background in the chemical industry where I worked mainly with environmental, quality and regulatory affair issues. When the opportunity to work with Regulatory Affairs in the automotive industry came up, I accepted the challenge and switched from chemical legislation to automotive legislation.

How come you are so interested in your specific field of work?

Working with legislation in the automotive industry means that you have lot of contact with other people and work together to come up with good solutions that fulfils customer requirements as well as legal requirements.

What is the best thing about your job?

The best thing about my job is that there are opportunities for assignments in different areas and therefore the possibility to develop both your career and personality. Working as a consultant means that you get to know different company cultures, tools and solutions.

What are you doing at the moment?

Lately I have been working internally to run and implement a quality and environment management system. Since July we are certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, which of course is great for us as a company.

What is your experience of ÅF so far?

It is a company that care for their employees, they listen and really try to meet the employees' needs and wishes of the assignments.

What are your thoughts on Ladies’ Month?

It is a good and important position that ÅF have taken to show that we really want to increase the share of women in the company.
