Feasibility studies for the French Development Agency

Description of project:
Studies for expansion of the Nigerian High Voltage Grid by constructing the following additional transmission lines and substations:
- 330 kV double-circuit transmission line from T-off of Jos/Makurdi to 330/132/33 kV S/S Apo, 140 km
- New 330/132/33 kV S/S Apo, 2x330/132 kV transformer 150 MVA, 3x 132/33 kV transformer 60 MVA
- New 330 kV double-circuit transmission line East Main to proposed 330/132/33 kV S/S Kuje
- New 330/132/33 kV S/S Kuje, 2x330/132 kV transformer 150 MVA, 3x 132/33 kV transformer 60 MVA
- New 330/132/33 kV S/S East Main, 2x330/132 kV transformer 150 MVA, 3x 132/33 kV transformer 60 MVA
- Extension of 2 line bays in S/S Gwagwalada
ÅF's services:
- Technical validation of the pre-feasibility studies and the selected line routes
- Network studies (load flow, short circuit etc)
- Site visit to the proposed substations, ascertaining the locations of the S/S
- Detailed technical studies of the line routes
- Design of towers and substations
- Costing of the project / Standard bidding documents
- Economic and financial analysis; economic and financial viability assessment of the project including tariffs
- Environmental survey
- Investigation of associated digital communication facilities
- Training on NEPLAN
- Training on Economic and Financial Analysis
