ÅF-TÜV Nord AB is a subsidiary of ÅF-Kontroll. ÅF-TÜV Nord AB, which is owned jointly (50/50) by ÅF-Kontroll and the German company TÜV Nord, serves to confirm the success of the collaboration between ÅF-Kontroll and TÜV Nord in a variety of areas.
The main focus of our business activities is the certification of quality management and environmental management systems, but with effect from autumn 2002, the company will also be an accredited body for inspecting nuclear power plants.
ÅF-TÜV Nord AB has six employees, but the company also has full access, of course, to the full scope of expertise in safety, technical and administrative fields among the 2,700 strong workforce of the ÅF Group as a whole.
