ÅF acquires RealFast Software Consulting in Västerås, a company working with embedded systems. Today ÅF has 70 consultants operational in Västerås, making it one of the biggest players in this region.
 
"RealFast Software Consulting is highly skilled and well-established on the Västerås market. The acquisition means that we will double our resources in embedded systems in the region", says ÅF subsidiary manager Magnus Ankarstrand. 
 
RealFast Software Consulting's eight co-workers will move to the ÅF building in Västerås to become integrated with the existing unit for embedded systems. Anders Hallgren will head the new joint organisation.

"This amalgamation will make us extremely competent players on the market for specialist services within embedded systems. We predict our skills base will develop well, despite the trend towards economic downturn," says Anders Hallgren.

"Our customers will get a working partner with huge resources who have the opportunity to take on projects of a considerably larger nature than previously," Hallgren continues.
