Sweden's tenth largest technical consulting company, Tyréns AB, and the educational specialists C-ITS AB within Bofors Defence, are both to introduce the PX Control (™) business system as developed and supplied by the ÅF Group.

Tyréns, with close to 600 employees, is one of Sweden's leading consulting companies in the construction and infrastructure sectors, with a portfolio of contracts that includes the Mälaren Valley Rail Link (Mälarbanan), the E4 European motorway between Uppsala and Mehedeby (Sweden), Malmö University, facilities for Astra in Södertälje south of Stockholm and work on the extension of Stockholm Arlanda airport.

 

C-ITS exists to sell knowledge and assistance that supports, stimulates and develops its customers' businesses. C-ITS helps companies to capitalise on their intellectual resources and delivers modern educational and training systems as well as developing and managing methods and solutions for e-learning and various form of simulators. Many of the company's clients are found among major industrial companies and in the defence industry, the emergency services and the offshore sector. C-ITS currently has approximately 80 employees.

 

PX Control™ has been specially developed for consulting operations, where it is designed to help users to work more efficiently with a wide spectrum of project administration tasks. The project accounting and financial accounting functions are fully integrated to provide an effective, all-round solution for users. At present more than 180 companies are using the system in Scandinavia.
