At the United Nations climate meeting in Bonn on 1 November the ÅF-Group was awarded a prize for its work in reducing the emission of greenhouse gases in Eastern Europe.
ÅF-International is responsible to the Swedish National Energy Administration for the environmental adaptation of energy systems in Eastern Europe. Now this work has been awarded an environment prize by the Climate Technology Initiative (CTI).
The programme began in 1993 within the framework of the UN's climate convention. As a result, carbon dioxide emissions have fallen by 350,000 tonnes annually.
