Sigma chooses PX Control from ÅF

The Sigma corporate group has agreed to install the business administration system PX Control supplied by ÅF-Data, a member of the ÅF-Group. This is a skeleton agreement by which Sigma's different member companies have the option to install PX Control. Implementation will take place successively and the first company to do so is Sigma Teknik i Malmö AB, which will have installed the system by 1 January 1999.

Sigma comprises some forty companies, having a total of about 1,200 employees. Their operations cover two business areas: information technology and industrial technology.

We want a business-adapted system that will allow us to grow freely, says Anders Johnsson, Sigma's Administrative Director. The consulting firm of BFE, which was recently acquired by Sigma, already uses PX Control and is well satisfied.

PX Control was developed by ÅF-Data on a Windows platform as a client/server system for consulting businesses. Project accounting is completely integrated with financial accounting, thus providing a total solution for consulting firms. ÅF-Data has had considerable success with the system in Sweden and Norway.
