The ÅF-Group’s company for inspection and testing, ÅF-Kontroll, has been given third-party accreditation by SWEDAC, the Swedish Board for Accreditation and Conformity Assessment, to carry out non-destructive testing according to the requirements of the National Board of Occupational Safety and Health and the National Nuclear Power Inspection Board, with respect to manufacture, installation and repair. This means that ÅF-Kontroll is thereby a complete inspection and testing organisation for non-destructive testing as well as for inspection in the Swedish process, energy, and manufacturing industries.

Since 1995, ÅF-Kontroll has built up a competent and skilled organisation of almost 200 employees, which makes it a leader in Sweden in the field of inspection and testing.

In non-destructive testing, investigate methods are used such as ultrasound or X-rays to analyse faults and defects in construction.
