On behalf of the Swedish electricity generating company, Jämtkraft, the ÅF Group is carrying out procurement procedures for a new, bio-fuelled combined heating and power plant at Lugnvik near Östersund.

The new plant’s estimated 350 GWh production will be sufficient to supply 20,000 private homes with all their heating requirements. The ÅF Group has been commissioned to produce documentation to accompany the invitation to tender, to evaluate incoming tenders and to provide specialist assistance to Jämtkraft during the contract negotiations. Total investment in the plant is approximately SEK 500 million.
