ÅF-Industriteknik has acquired Holotech CAD/CAM from KD-teknik, which is owned by the Municipality of Köping, Sweden.

Holotech CAD/CAM specialises in training, sales, support and consulting assignments in the field of CAD/CAM technology. Today Holotech CAD/CAM has seven employees. Clients come mainly from the engineering industry in Scandinavia.

ÅF-Industriteknik is a member of the ÅF-Group, one of Europe’s leading industrial consulting groups with more than 2,000 consultants. With this acquisition, ÅF-Industriteknik can offer its clients a more complete service. Among other things, the acquisition strengthens the company in training and support services. By being integrated into the ÅF-Group, Holotech CAD/CAM will obtain new clients and will be able to develop further in what are partly new fields.

ÅF-Industriteknik will also become established in Köping, at first with 3-5 consultants in addition to Holotech CAD/CAM’s present staff.

The Municipality of Köping is selling Holotech CAD/CAM in order to secure the future of the company’s employees and to bring more jobs to Köping. The company also has great potential for further expansion.
