ÅF has been chosen as main consultant and engineer for a rebuild of integrated pulp and paper mill - Portucel Viana KLB400 project.

 

ÅF, through its Swedish and Spanish units, has been awarded a main engineer and project management contract for a rebuild of integrated pulp and board mill - Portucel Viana KLB400 project.

 

The contract value for ÅF amounts about 3.5 million euros.

 

The assignment includes the basic and detailed engineering for the following main areas: Virgin fiber line, Recycle fiber line, Recovery Island and Paper Machine. The main target of the project is to increase mill's production capacity.

 

ÅF is today one of the leading engineering consultant for Pulp & paper globally.
