ÅF is to sell its French subsidiary AF Cheq Froté S.A. The company has 50 employees.

 

The purchasers are the management of AF Chleq Forté. The transaction amounts to 1 EURO.

 

The sale will have no effect on profits as provisions for this transaction were made in the annual accounts for 2006.

 

The sale is part of the strategic re-alignment currently being undertaken within ÅF's Process Division.

 

As the sale requires the approval of a general meeting of shareholders in AB Ångpanneföreningen, an extraordinary meeting of shareholders has preliminarily been planned for August. A separate call to the meeting will be published no later than two weeks prior to the meeting.
