ÅF has signed a 24-month framework agreement with the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) in the field of "service production for mobile command centres".

 

Procurement negotiations concerned eight possible areas of technology with a total order volume of 56,900 hours according to estimates from FMV. ÅF has been awarded a contract for four of these areas of technology (Integration, System Safety, Technical Investigations and Assignment Planning), which are estimated to amount to an order volume of 30,000 hours over two years.

 

The agreement includes an option to extend collaboration for a further 24 months, corresponding to a total of 53,000 hours (of which 28,000 will accrue to ÅF).
 
Today ÅF has a total of some 200 consultants working in the field of defence technology.
