The ÅF Group has been awarded a contract for the complete engineering of a major paper machine rebuild at SCA Packaging in Aschaffenburg, Germany.

 

For consultants in the ÅF Group's Pulp & Paper Division, work on the project will begin immediately in the form of a pre-engineering phase. Towards the end of the year this will be continued with full implementation engineering.

 

Project management resources will be based at the ÅF Group's German company in Ravensburg, but the contract will require calling upon the skills and resources of ÅF specialists in Germany, Sweden and Finland.

 

Start-up for the new line is scheduled to take place towards September/October 2005.
