The ÅF Group has received an order from Stora Enso worth approximately SEK 40 million (4.5 million euros) in connection with Stora Enso's decision to build a new paper machine for uncoated magazine paper at its Kvarnsveden paper mill in Borlänge, central Sweden.

 

The assignment covers project planning work relating to process technology and plant design, and the contract will run until the paper machine is ready for commissioning at the end of 2005. The ÅF Group has previous experience from the Kvarnsveden paper mill following its involvement in the feasibility studies and preliminary project planning assignments that preceded the actual investment decision.

 

The work will be led from the ÅF Group's offices in Karlstad, Sweden.
