Applied International Management

 

For the second year in succession the ÅF Group has been entrusted with the task of running the Applied International Management programme. This is a training course in international business intended for medium-sized companies in developing countries.

 

The order is worth SEK 3.2 million and is financed by SIDA.

 

This year the Applied International Management programme is aimed at Asian entrepreneurs. Those participating are leading officials in medium-sized companies that want to expand in national or international markets. The programme aims to expose participants to Western business concepts, to create networks, to inspire and provide the conditions for development in their own organisations.

 

The programme is being run in Malmö and Stockholm from September 1 to 26. Early in 2004 a follow-up seminar is planned in one of the participating countries.

 

Public Service Management

 

The ÅF Group has - for the third year in succession - been entrusted with the task of running the Public Service Management programme. This is a training course for managers responsible for pushing through radical change in central and local administration in their home country.

 

The order is worth SEK 4.1 million and is financed by SIDA.

 

This year the Public Service Management programme is aimed at Asia. The target group is senior officials in state and local administration given the task of pushing through projects for change. The programme is intended to help the participants to develop and formulate their tasks for change and to expose them to Swedish Administration, to create networks, to inspire and provide the conditions for development and change in their own organisations.

 

The programme is being run in Stockholm and Nyköping from October 10 to 15. Early in 2004 a follow-up seminar is planned in one of the participating countries.
