As a member of the Swedish radio navigation board (RNN), ÅF is one of the organizers of a symposium concerning the development of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS). The symposium takes place on October 21st at the new head quarters of ÅF at Haga norra in Solna/Stockholm.

The symposium will highlight the developments of satellite systems - both improvements of the existing systems and development of new systems. How will the manufactures of GNSS-equipment adopt their equipment to the new situation and how can the users benefit from this development? Will the use of GNSS change and which new applications will be possible when the number of available satellites (systems) and the reliability increases?
