Process Division's new market area Foods & Pharmaceutical in Lund will deliver a Porridge plant and CIP station to Saarioinen, one of Finland’s leading food manufacturers. Saarioinen produces rye and rice porridge flavoured with e.g. red current, lingonberry and apple juice.

 

The project is a turn-key project of 600 000 EUR and includes delivery of process equipment, pre-assembly, automation, engineering and commissioning.

 

ÅF delivers process equipment for liquid raw material handling, a cubical mixing tank for pre-mixing of ingredients and two process tanks for heating and cooling of porridge. There is also a CIP station included.

 

The plant has a high level of automation and is flexible for further expansion and new products. The equipment will be pre-mounted and tested in Lund. Installation on site in Huittinen by local contractor.
