Project planning and engineering
Smooth project organisation is a must when expanding complex traffic systems. Power supply, signal and safety systems and telecom facilities demand a great deal in terms of design and operational reliability.
Track EST planning
An increasing part of our consultancy work focuses on coordinated project planning in the areas of track electrics, signal and telecoms within the framework of various infrastructure projects. We are constantly expanding our expertise in these areas, in order to remain one of the market's most interesting partners for infrastructure projects in our field of excellence. We can contribute to the entire project planning and engineering process from drawing up the railway plan right up to the finished system, including final updates for as-built and operational documentation.
Signalling safety
ÅF specialises in overhead contact line and signalling safety systems for railway operations. Our commissions have included the City Line in Stockholm, the City Tunnel in Malmö, Hallandsås tunnel and Uppsala station.
Track
ÅF has broad expertise in railway line and track geometry, with experience gained from major projects such as the City Tunnel in Malmö and extensive station redevelopment, e.g. at Malmö C and Uppsala C.
ÅF's line work covers every stage of a railway project from preliminary studies to as-built documentation.
