Ladies' Month is an active measure to raise the issue of gender equality and highlight that ÅF is prepared to take bold and innovative initiatives to move forward on this important issue.
The goal of Ladies' Month is to show that we are an attractive workplace for both men and women and to attract more people to join ÅF.
ÅF’s goal is to double sales from 1 billion in 2015 to 2 billion in 2020. This means that we need to increase the workforce from today's approximately 8, 500 employees. If we are to cope with skill supply more women must join the profession.
Therefore, we put great effort into developing our recruitment processes, actively working for justice and gender-neutral wages, implement transparent career models and train our managers in inclusive leadership.
During Ladies' Month we only write new employment contracts with women. The campaign has been successful and we have increased the number of women applying for jobs at ÅF by 46 percent in 2014 and another 24 percent in 2015.
ÅF is one of many companies that have both the need and the responsibility for driving change. For that reason, we will repeat Ladies' Month for the third consecutive year in 2016
