To strengthen our Management Team in Switzerland we are looking for a

Country Controller

Your main objectives are:

  • Responsible for the group financial reporting according to IFRS for the units in Switzerland, and their subsidiaries
  • Responsible for preparing the local statutory accounts of AF Consult Switzerland
  • Establishes an effective financial and administrative shared service platform in Switzerland supporting all legal units in the country
  • As an extension of the ÅF Group’s finance support function, supports the establishment of ÅF’s various units internationally, by providing active guidance and services in Tax, Accounting, Human Resources, Legal, IT and Treasury -areas
  • Responsible for the business control of the business area Energy Switzerland

Your main tasks are:

  • Responsible for the monthly reporting process (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow), budgeting, and long-term forecasts
  • Drives actions to improve business performance, profitability, cash flow etc.
  • Supports the Business Area President in all business and financial matters
  • Organises the financial support for departments (business units)
  • Supports business management in the implementation of strategic objectives
  • Actively involved in M&A in identifying targets and executing transactions
  • Contact point for banks, auditors, public authorities, pension funds, insurance companies and other external administrative organisations
  • Assures that ÅF Group and divisional policies and practises are implemented
  • Ensures excellent project management procedures are in place, project risk is managed during the sales process and during project execution

Who are you?

  • Degree in Business administration/finance
  • 5-10 years of experience in the international environment
  • Solid working knowledge of reporting, budgeting, mergers & acquisitions, and establishment of legal entities (national & international)
  • Must have excellent skills in change management, communications, team building and working across organisational boarders
  • Experience with Swiss pension fund topics
  • Line management experience
  • Familiarity with project business and project controlling skills
  • Excellent business English, fluent German
  • Ready to travel
