ÅF-Group and A1 join forces within the Brazilian pulp and paper industry

The European based consulting and engineering company ÅF, through its Process Division, and the Brazilian engineering company A1 Engenharia e Gerenciamento Ltda have agreed to develop a Joint Venture for their activities within the Brazilian pulp and paper industry. The joint activities start immediately and will position the new cooperation as one of the key suppliers on the Brazilian market.
ÅF has been active within the pulp and paper industry since 1895 and is today one of the leading consulting and engineering companies within the industry. It's headquarters is located in Stockholm, Sweden, and has today 1,400 consultants active within the global pulp and paper industry out of offices in 9 countries. The company is noted on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
A1 is an engineering company servicing the Brazilian pulp and paper industry with 90 consultants and engineers based in Curitiba, Brazil. The company was founded three years ago by Claudemir Martinelli and is specialized on detailed engineering work towards the pulp and paper industry.

The new joint venture will operate out of A1's office in Curitiba, Brazil.
