ÅF Group signs SEK 60 million contract with Emin Leydier of FranceThe ÅF Group's French subsidiary Chleq Froté has signed a contract with the packaging manufacturer Emin Leydier. The ÅF Group's share of the project totals approximately SEK 65 million. The contract will run during 2003-2004.
The project involves ÅF Group subsidiary Chleq Froté in detailed planning work in conjunction with the installation of a new paper machine. In addition to acting as a consultant and process expert, Chleq Froté will also provide support Emin Leydier in issues regarding permits etc.
During 2002 Chleq Froté carried out a pilot study for the project worth SEK 2.2 million.
The client's overall investment costs for the new paper machine total SEK 2 billion. The plant will be used to produce corrugated fluting based on recycled fibres and will have a production capacity of approximately 300,000 tonnes of paper per year.
Emin Leydier is a family-owned paper, card and packaging company with annual sales in the region of SEK 2,600 million and a workforce of 1,100.
