Construction is to take place at the territory of Vasilyevskiy Island in St Petersburg. Works performed by Lonas Tekhnologia CJSC (AF, St Petersburg) within the project of constructing a new combined cycle power plant covered:

• Pre-feasibility studies
• Designing project of reducing sanitary-protection zone

New 350 MW CCGT plant provides generation of electrical power and a 80 MW heating power. The project was completed in 2008 but construction has not yet started.
