ÅF in Spain entered one of the most important Central Asian markets in April 2011 with an emblematic project representative of the firm’s core services: “Modelling regional renewable energy feed-in tariffs in Kazakhstan”; followed by a second, strategic project “Kazakhstan Renewable Energy Development Framework and Regulatory Support“ in March, 2012.
As the result of excellent team performance and fruitful relation with the client, ÅF has just been awarded a third contract in the country, “Kazakhstan Renewable Energy Market Study”.
In this assignment, the firm will analyze the renewable energy potential in Kazakhstan, helping the EBRD in the design and launch of a successful financing facility for renewable energy projects in the country.
