Laboratory services holding accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025

ÅF provides measurements of noise and vibration on site as well as in laboratory. These services are carried out within a rigorous quality system, adopted to the International standard ISO/IEC 17025. Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025  is given to ÅF-Ingemansson AB by the Swedish Board for Accreditation and Conformity Assessment (SWEDAC) for a large number of Methods. Through a multilateral agreement, measurements reported within the accreditation are valid in most European countries and in Australia.

Reports are issued carrying the SWEDAC accreditation stamp. The legacy of the report is defined by the wordings:

"Laboratories are accredited by the Swedish Board for Accreditation and Conformity Assessment (SWEDAC) under the terms of Swedish legislation. The Swedish accredited laboratories meet the requirements in SS-EN ISO/IEC 17025 (2000). This report may not be reproduced other than in full, except with the prior written approval of SWEDAC and the issuing laboratory"

The customer holding an accredited report on the noise emission of his product has got a good basis for the CE-declaration of the machine, which today is a necessary step to take in the marketing of products covered by the Machinery Directive 89/392/EEC issued by the Council of the European Communities.

ACCREDITATION TO ISO/IEC 17025

The Swedish Board for Accreditation and Conformity Assessment, SWEDAC, has accredited ÅF-Ingemansson AB  in accordance with the International standard ISO/IEC 17025  for a large number of measurement methods (more than 70), in laboratories as well as in-situ.

Our reports are thus issued carrying the SWEDAC accreditation stamp. Through a multilateral agreement, measurements undertaken within this accreditation are valid in most European countries as well as in Australia.
