Award-winning lighting designer Jim Collin joins ÅF and will be manager of the new Lighting department in Malmö. Jim Collin will take on the challenge of generating new business in southern and western Sweden.

Thursday evening the winner of the Nordic Lighting Award was finally announced. ÅF was this year nominated for the award with the project at Aalborg Harbor Front (Denmark) and the project received  honorable mention due to its "outstanding integration of landscape and lighting design".

ÅF in Denmark expands its business within Process Automation and Industrial IT. Viatech ApS is the latest acquisition and is now a part of the ÅF Group

ÅF has won a contract with the City of Copenhagen in relation to their upcoming modernization of the street lighting in the whole municipality.

On September 1 st it will be one year since ÅF Lighting was launched as a new business area under infrastructure.

The winner of a major competition regarding the new Natural History Museum of Denmark has recently been revealed. The winning tema is Lundgaard and Tranberg Architects, architects Claus Pryds and Steen Høyer and consulting engineers EKJ. ÅF Lighting is sub consultants to EKJ regarding lighting and day-light in the new museum.
