Nizhniy Tagil Steel Mill, Russia

Between 2001 and 2006, a series of projects were carried out by Lonas Tekhnologia CJSC (AF, St Petersburg) at the steel plant in Nizhniy Tagil, Russia. In 2004 one project included:

• Overall analysis of energy facilities of steel plant
• Elaboration of recommendations for its improvement
• Installation of turbine unit with generator
• Installation of turbine compressor with turbine
• Detail design
• Main and auxiliary equipment procurement
• Construction and erection
• Commissioning and start-up

In 2006 turbine compressor no. 10 with turbine was installed. Works performed included:

• Detailed design
• Main and auxiliary equipment supply
• Technical supervision during equipment manufacturing
• Construction & erection works
• Start-up works
