Description of project
ÅF provides technical assistance to the client in the modernization of the monitoring and control system of the lignite fired Nikola Tesla Thermal Power Plant B (TENT B), with 2 x 620 MW one of the most important generation sites in Serbia. We support the client in design, tendering and project monitoring within the framework of the following three packages:

• Package 1: Replacement of control systems existing functionality, upgrading of combustion control
• Package 2: Selective replacement of field equipment, instruments, control cables etc
• Package 3: Refurbishment of main control room

Our services
Support and advice to the client’s project coordination team from project definition to operational acceptance for project strategic decisions; preparation of technical specifications; supervision and advise referring procurement of equipment including evaluation of suppliers; review of implementation engineering and site supervision of package 1 supplier; supervision of packages 2 and 3; advising on Kyoto Protocol/UNFCCC mechanism; liaison and reporting to the Swiss financing institution (State Secretariat for Economic Affairs SECO) with quarterly reports, budgets, milestones and logframe.
