Some projects include both the analysis and realisation phases: for example, projects combining planning and construction of energy efficient buildings, power plants which lead to improved security of energy supply and reduced carbon dioxide emissions, or helping industries choose and install efficient process technologies.
ÅF is constantly commissioned to assist in the planning and construction of new combined heat and power plants such as the ones in Mölndal, Sweden (GAR 2011:01), Pärnu, Estonia (GAR 2011:02), in Kotka, Finland (GAR 2010:02) and in Monthey, Switzerland (GAR 2010:01).
Other realisation projects concern buildings, such as the case involving the energy efficient office in GAR 2010:02 or infrastructure for safe and reliable railway traffic, such as the case presented in GAR 2010:01.
