We have to be experts in systems dating from the first half of the last century right up to the latest computer interlockings. Our signalling designers are ready to meet that challenge.
Complex resignalling schemes
We offer the expertise to take on large and intricate resignalling schemes and can take part in all stages of the planning and design process, from feasibility studies to final documentation. While our main emphasis is on initial and detailed designs, we also have certified personnel for independent design checking and scheme commissioning.
Our signalling engineers are experts in their field and have long experience in all aspects of railway signalling.
Client driven solutions
ÅF have worked with several infrastructure authorities in Sweden and our Scandinavian neighbours. Our main client in Sweden is the National Transport Authority (Trafikverket) and we have also worked with regional operators and authorities such as Stockholm Transport (SL).
Over the years we have taken part in a large number of railway projects and resignalling schemes, which gives us the experience it takes to develop tomorrow’s systems.
