We’re pairing up Sweden’s best consultants
On the 1st of January 2013 Epsilon and ÅF merged, forming one of northern Europe's leading technology consulting companies.
This means that we in the New Year entered the ÅF brand and you will now meet us as a joint venture, with the same colour on our team shirts, greater collective expertise and a broader offering to our customers.
This is a development that we are very proud over and that brings new and exciting opportunities, greater gathered competence and a broader offering to our customers, co-workers and partners.
The merger is motivated by a strong industrial logic, as ÅF and Epsilon complement each other well with regard to technical expertise, service offerings, customer base and geographic coverage. We also have a common culture in terms of their view on taking pride in engineering.
The new ÅF Group will include approximately 6,800 permanent employees and a network of partners with approximately 16,000 consultants.
Mats Boström, Epsilon's current CEO, will take up the position as Head of the ÅF Technology Division and will be responsible for the ÅF Group's Partner network. Mats will also be a member of ÅF’s Group Management.
Dan Olofsson and family becomes, through the holding company Danir and as a result of the transaction, the single largest shareholder in ÅF from a capital perspective. Danir intends to remain a long-term major shareholder of ÅF.
