Helena Paulsson new Head of Urban Development

ÅF has a unique multidisciplinary competence base within the field of Smart Cities, which is one of the key growth drivers for ÅF. To develop the offer further, ÅF appoints Helena Paulsson as Head of Urban Development.

The challenges and need for solutions related to urbanisation are great. Big questions such as life quality, transport and emission have to be solved, both in mega cities and in smaller cities. All over the world, innovations and digitalization provide opportunities for solving these challenges.

For many years, ÅF has assisted cities and urban areas with smart engineering and design, to develop places where people want to live and thrive. ÅF has unique multidisciplinary competence in this area, ranging from energy and digitalization to the changes in the transport sector, infrastructure and design, combined with deep knowledge in urban planning.

To strengthen our offer, Helena Paulsson is appointed Head of Urban Development. Helena starts her new position March 1 and reports to the CEO, Jonas Gustavsson. Helena Paulsson started working at ÅF in 2012 and became Section Manager for Urban Planning in Malmö, Sweden, in 2014.

Helena Paulsson will coordinate and lead processes for developing ÅF’s offers within Smart Cities, as well as head ÅF’s “Urban Lab”.
