Forsvarsbygg has entered into a framework agreement with ÅF Advansia worth NOK 63 million. It is a seven year contract for the delivery of advisory services for the development of Evenes Air Station.
ÅF won the prequalification round where five companies applied and three were prequalified. ÅF won the competition based on price.
For seven years
Forsvarsbygg has already contracts with ÅF Advansia for the development in Ørland. It is a construction and an advisory contract. The consulting contract we just signed for Evenes is very similar to the one we have in Ørland.
The contract for Evenes has a duration of seven years and an estimated turnover of NOK 63 million including VAT based on an estimated time amount of 58,000 hours.
" Forsvarsbygg is pleased with the contract with ÅF Advansia. The development of Evenes is enjoying the experience they have with the development of the main base in Ørland," says Thorbjørn Thoresen, Director of Forsvarsbygg.
"ÅF Advansia has extensive experience in developing airports and defense facilities, among other things, through being responsible for Avinor's development of T2 at OSL Gardermoen. We assist Forsvarsbygg with project and construction management for the development in Ørland. This is an important project for the society that we look forward to, says Jan Eklund, Director of Aerospace, Transport and Industry at ÅF Advansia.
The contract describes 14 performance requirements that are covered in this agreement, including project managers, design manager, fremdriftsplanlegger, project economist, contract advisor and other services that the project needs. Some of the services are in Oslo, while the majority are at Evenes.
Forsvarsbygg plans and develops Evenes Air Station, which utilizes the Armed Forces' needs, and facilitates efficient operative activity. The airport develops from the principles of area efficiency, accuracy, reuse, standardization and flexible solutions.
