ÅF opens new office in Stavanger
ÅF is in strong growth in Central Norway and is now establishing itself in Stavanger. Earlier this year, the company has established branches in Molde and Ålesund.
ÅF is experiencing strong growth in Central Norway. With the establishment of the Stavanger office, we will now offer our services to customers in Western and Central part of the country through more than 60 employees working from our offices in Trondheim, Kristiansund, Molde, Ålesund, Bergen and Stavanger.
We are proud to have opened this office with a team that has strong local knowledge, "says Kjell Håvard Nilsen, regional director of ÅF in Norway.
The Stavanger team is headed by Regional Manager Dinah Laland, who is has established the Stavanger office with with Marie Elise Aarrestad and Åse Ingrid Nesteby. In addition, they have hired five consultants.
"I'm incredibly glad to bring with me two young women on the team. Despite relatively short time in the industry, they have already made their mark. Partly because of the master thesis they have written about LEAN in BREEAM. They achieved the best grade, and have presented the thesis both nationally and internationally," tells a proud Dinah Laland.
Great market opportunities
The motivation for ÅF's investment in Stavanger is that the company sees great opportunities in the market for both private and public companies.

ÅF has long and wide experience with project and construction management for both public and private developers in construction, infrastructure and industrial projects. The project references are many and range from the small to the big ones, where the development of Terminal 2 at Oslo Airport to date is the largest.
Today, ÅF has project management for Powerhouse Brattørkaia, the new Nidarø Hall in Trondheim, the Airforce base in Ørland and Evenes, the new Munch Museum, Deichmanske Main Library, the Police Emergency Center, the LHL Hospital at Gardermoen and Storbylegevakten (ER) in Oslo, as well as the New Tine Dairy in Bergen to name a few.
ÅF in Stavanger is already in the process of project and design management at of Mandal Hotel, which opens June 1st next year and will become Norway's southernmost hotel.
For developers 2020park, they cooperate with Sweco and Alliance Architects on regulation of the area where Tou Brewery was located on Forus. They have received some exciting assignments for Avinor in addition to a large project for SV Betong that is a contractor at Vinterbro, says Laland.
