Ulf Dinkelspiel proposed as new member of the board of ÅF

A majority (70%) of the shareholders of AB Ångpanneföreningen (ÅF) will propose at an ordinary general meeting on 11 May that Ulf Dinkelspiel be elected as a new director.
 
 
"Ulf Dinkelspiel's experience and competence will reinforce and complement that of the board of ÅF. In particular Ulf's knowledge will be very valuable on matters of international enterprise and stock markets", comments Carl-Erik Nyquist, Chairman of the Board of ÅF.
 
Ulf Dinkelspiel, born in 1939, has been MD of Exportrådet  (The Swedish Trade Council) since 1995.
 
Ulf has had board experience at, for example, E. Öhman J:or Kapitalförvaltning (chair), E. Öhman J:or AB, E. Öhman J:or Fondkommission AB, Nordnet AB, Springtime AB, Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan (The Royal Institute of Technology), Handelshögskoleföreningen (The Swedish School of Economics Association) and ICC Sweden (vice chair).
 
Ulf Dinkelspiel has previously held leading positions within The Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, both in Sweden and abroad, including that of Minister for Foreign Trade and Europe from 1991 to 1994, and of ambassador and Chief Negotiator on EU matters from 1988 to 1991.
