GAP and situation analysis - a way to ensure product safety
A company who develops a product for the food industry had received several customer requests and were spending too much resources to find the sufficient data for each case separately.
ÅF performed a GAP/situation analysis on the customers product safety to ensure that the components in contact with food comply with European legislation for food and US FDA regulations. It could be ensured that no hazardous substances were found in the components and hence no leakage to the food that is handled by the suction cup.
By helping the company identify and specify the intended use of the product the company could make the right requirements on the user.
