We minimize our clients’ risks and environmental impact in connection with engineering design and construction.
Before any blasting work is started, an in-depth assessment of key factors in the surrounding environment must be carried out. The local area may contain infrastructure, properties or technical or humanitarian activities that are sensitive to noise and vibrations. We measure the groundwater level, take water samples, assess the buildings’ condition and foundations, and calculate how vibrations are dampened and transmitted in the surrounding ground. In your risk assessment, we report the limit values and all other factors of importance before and after blasting.
To avoid damage and inconveniences in the local area as far as possible, we carry out a meticulous inventory and prescribe which restrictions and measures are required to ensure safe blasting. We also determine the size of the risk zone and what needs to be surveyed and undergo vibration measurement.
A thorough and expert risk assessment helps you to avoid added costs after the fact. The assessment provides detailed documentation both for those submitting bids for construction contracts and for those inviting tenders for excavation work.
