Description of project
Set-up of new 380 kV east-west transmission line in Canton Valais crossing the Nufenen Pass, also enabling the Swiss Federal Railways a smooth operation of their two base tunnels in the Alps. An additional 65 kV circuit increases the security of the energy supply in the regional power grid.
