Description of project
The 2,400 MW Son La project contributes to the development of the hydropower potential of the upper Da River in the Northwest of Vietnam. The plant comprises a 138 m high RCC gravity dam, spillway, low-level outlets, and an open-air power house hosting six Francis units with an annual energy output of 9,400 GWh.
