Description of project
Since 2008, the Alps in Canton Valais have been the site of one of the most important infrastructure construction projects in Switzerland: the pumped-storage power station Nant de Drance. Potential drainage effects and subsidence in the vicinity of existing dams must be attended to during planning, construction and operation.
