ÅF acquires 100 percent of the shares in the environmental engineering company Demikon D-Miljö AB based in Malmö. The company is focused on soil investigations, remediation inspections, licensing, remediation solutions and environmental building investigations.
Demikon has 16 employees and estimated sales of 24-25 million SEK this year. The acquisition of Demikon strengthens ÅF in the environmental primarily in Malmö and Gothenburg and makes us a leader in the petroleum industry. The acquisition is in line with the Group's continued ambition to become a leading player in the expanding environmental consultancy market.
Demikon consolidated as of October 1st and incorporated into the Infrastructure Division, which will then become involved nearly 150 people in the environmental field.
